These NEW "Trained Killer" stickers are printed on a tougher, higher quality vinyl than the original. I am very proud to offer you an improved product without having to raise the prices! The new stickers also now feature a fixed bayonet (a longtime tradition at VMI).
How good is this new sticker? Take a look to the right. See that Trained Killer sticker on that mug? The mug was purchased from the VMI bookstore as a momento. KL added the sticker to see how it handled water, heat, microwavings, and regular use. The sticker has survived more cycles in the dishwater and microwave than we could count. Contrast that to the next picture of the VMI spider logo that came with the mug. Much to our surprise our sticker has proven more durable than the graphic printed on the mug. The Trained Killer sticker will tough it out where ever you put it, be it on the back window of your car, laptop, or binder. This sticker is as tough as the men and women VMI produces. It all started when the Lexington Virginia Police Chief was maliciously misquoted as impolitely calling Virginia Military Institute cadets "trained killers." The Corps still loves the term even though the short-lived controversy has long since subsided. Cadets at the Institute proudly claim the title of Trained Killer with a sense of humor and acutely aware that, except for the handful of decorated vets in the Corps, the vast majority of them are just cadets. Then again, it's important not to take yourself too seriously. But current cadets aren't the only fan. Seasoned Institute alumni in the military have been proudly purchasing and displaying their Trained Killer stickers on their vehicles, gun cases, computers, and cars. So whether you're still enduring the suck at the Institute or a salty experienced alumni, or perhaps just a proud servicemen unaffiliated with VMI who likes the sticker, these are sure to look great on whatever you put it on!* And yes, these stickers are made in the USA. *EMT's are highly discouraged from prominently displaying these on your rescue vehicles. Killing isn't your goal. I hope. |
